SHIPPING:
As you all know shipping costs have increased frequently and significantly. In keeping with our motto of dealing with you in a straight forward way as possible we are no longer offering free shipping. Free shipping was never really “free” as everyone who offered it found a way to hide the cost in their price structure or they didn’t stay in business long. WE have now added DHL service as it is the lowest cost, includes $100 insurance, is reasonably fast and they take care of your packages. We continue to offer Priority Mail which normally reaches you in 2 business days as opposed to the 5-7 days DHL takes. Priority mail is also a low cost option for small packages but not for large packages.
Our shopping cart gives you theses options to choose from and shows you each of their costs before you check out.
There are a very few items that are considered “oversized.” Our shopping cart does not calculate oversize charges. If you order an oversize item we will call you and let you know the additional shipping charges.
All model kits have shipping costs calculated as if they were shipping as a single parcel. If you order a kit AND accessories you will see multiple shipping charges, however if we can we will fit your accessories into the kit box we will reduce the charges shown on your cart.
Shipping is not a profit center for us. To the extent possible the costs shown are actual shipping costs. We do not add a handling surcharge.
International shipping is also calculated by our shopping cart. The minimum order size for international shipping is $50.
Other than the $100 DHL insurance the purchase of insurance is up to you. You can check the price of insurance during the check out process. Although all our shipping is tracked, we are not responsible for damage or loss as a result of shipping. If insurance was requested and billed, we can file the claim with the chosen carrier 14 days after shipment.
RETURNS
All items must first be returned to the manufacturer for repair or replacement. If there is no manufacturer warrantee then any part which is determined by Todd's Models as defective in material or workmanship may be returned for replacement with Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA), as per an authorized Todd's Models representative, shipping costs prepaid by the purchaser (buyer). Todd's Models Incorporated retains the sole determination of any repair or replacement value, if any and may or may not authorize return shipping costs.
Items that are special order, that have been altered, or are not in their original packaging may not be returned or exchanged. Todd's Models. will not allow products to be returned for exchange without prior authorization and Todd's Models Inc. reserves the right to adjust amounts for credit, debit or exchange purposes and to add a 15% restocking cost or fees as required by Todd's Models. Exchanges can be accommodated but are subject to and dealt with on a case by case basis. Todd's Models retains sole authority of and on these values or replacement allowances depending on the circumstances provided to an authorized Todd's Models representative and condition and merchantability of the returned device or product, associated packaging material, and accessories. Todd's Models can not refund any shipping costs or taxes, tithes or tributes incurred in any case. Todd's Models retains sole authority of and on the value of any exchange or replacement allowances.
